Turning your vision into action.

The ERC Strategic Planning Process
(my approach)

1

Foundational Positioning
(month 1)

This is where we hone in on the ‘warm and fuzzies’ of your strategic plan — mission, vision, values. We learn about stakeholder insights and review your organizational structures. We’ll start to dream big about the impact you want to have over the next five years, too.

The first of our in-person working sessions happens during this phase of the process.

2

Strategic Plan Development
(months 2-3)

Once we’re aligned on the foundational positioning of your organization, we start building your plan. Goals, strategies, tactics—that happens here.

The second of our in-person working sessions happens during this phase; we identify areas of focus and discuss what resources are needed to get there.

3

Implementation Roadmap
(months 3-4)

As we’re building your strategic plan, we start to envision how we’re going to achieve the goals—and this phase is where we piece it all together.

We develop a roadmap for the next five years, identifying what needs to happen, by when, and by whom.

(Most strategic planning stops here…)

4

Operational Activation
(months 5-6)

Our final phase—where the magic happens. After we’ve built your strategic plan and implementation roadmap, I ride off into the sunset with you.

Here, I’ll stay on as a strategic advisor for two full months, helping you kick-start your implementation. I answer questions, help troubleshoot, and we can modify as needed.

Additional Services

In addition to strategic planning projects, I also work with partners in a variety of other ways—speaking, workshops, retreat design + facilitation, and advising retainers.

  • I deliver keynotes and facilitate workshops for companies, conferences, and other events. Topics include: 1) The Future-Ready Board, 2) In the Age of AI, Curiosity is the Competitive Advantage

  • I craft meaningful agendas and facilitate sessions for boards and leadership teams.

  • Think of this as your ‘phone a friend’ option. I step in to support your team with monthly support and strategic advising.

Let's talk.

“As a small firm, we occasionally rely on consultants to support our client's needs. If Liz is available, I am always relieved. She excels at strategy development and communication. On top of that, she is a pleasure to work with and approaches our client needs with respect, thoughtfulness, and a true desire to move them closer to their goals.”
